Response Manager system components

Response Manager Server

The Response Manager Server works together with your Exchange server (or any other SMTP server) to manage email. Messages addressed to the group mailboxes you create are handled by the Response Manager Server. Messages addressed to your individual email accounts continue to be handled by the organizational mail server.

The Response Manager Server contains the following components:

Response Manager Admin

Response Manager Admin is used by administrators to perform all aspects of Response Manager configuration, including:

Response Manager Database

The Response Manager Database stores almost all the information required by the Response Manager Server, including messages, group mailboxes, users, rules, logs of the Response Manager Server’s activity, and report summary data. (The actual content of messages is not stored in the database, but on the Response Manager Server’s file system.)

Response Manager Reports

Response Manager Reports allow you to view statistics, view the status of messages, and analyze response time for different group mailbox users.
